Who We Are
Techone Tele Media ("we", "our", or "us") operates a private YouTube analytics platform accessible at clients.techonetelemedia.com. This platform is an internal business tool used to aggregate and display YouTube channel performance data for channels managed under the Techone Tele Media network.
This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we store it, and your rights with respect to that data.
Important: This platform is not a public product. Access is by invitation only and is limited to YouTube channel owners who have been directly invited by Techone Tele Media.
Information We Collect
We collect two categories of information:
Information you provide directly:
- Your YouTube channel name and URL (provided via the invite process)
- Your Google account credentials, accessed via Google OAuth 2.0 (we never see your password)
Information collected automatically via the YouTube API:
- YouTube channel ID, name, and public profile thumbnail
- Subscriber count and total view count
- Daily analytics: views, watch time, estimated revenue, subscriber gains and losses
- Per-video analytics: title, thumbnail, views, estimated revenue, watch time
- OAuth access token and refresh token (stored securely, used only to retrieve analytics data)
YouTube Data & Google API Usage
Our platform uses the following Google and YouTube APIs:
- YouTube Data API v3 — to retrieve channel metadata and video information
- YouTube Analytics API — to retrieve performance metrics
- YouTube Analytics Monetary API — to retrieve estimated revenue data
We request only the minimum permissions necessary. Specifically, we request read-only access. We cannot and do not make any changes to your YouTube channel, content, settings, or account.
Your use of YouTube data through our platform is also governed by the Google Privacy Policy and the YouTube Terms of Service.
You can revoke our access to your YouTube account at any time by visiting Google Account Permissions and removing Techone Tele Media.
How We Use Your Information
We use the data collected solely for the following purposes:
- Displaying your YouTube channel analytics within the Techone Tele Media dashboard
- Aggregating network-wide performance summaries for internal business analysis
- Identifying top-performing content across the Techone Tele Media network
- Maintaining the technical operation of the platform (authentication, session management)
We do not use your data for:
- Advertising or marketing to third parties
- Selling or renting your data to any third party
- Any purpose beyond internal business analytics
Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We do not share your YouTube channel data with any third parties except in the following limited circumstances:
- Google / YouTube: Data is retrieved via their official APIs, subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Hosting infrastructure: Our server hosting provider may have access to stored data as part of normal server operations. All servers are secured and access-controlled.
- Legal obligations: We may disclose data if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process.
Data Storage & Security
All data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on a private server. We implement the following security measures:
- All connections to the platform are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS
- OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and are never exposed to the browser
- Admin access is protected by password authentication and session management
- The server is not publicly accessible on the database port
- Session data uses secure, HTTP-only cookies
While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no internet transmission or storage system is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong password and notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorized access.
Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your data:
- Access: You can request a copy of the data we hold about your channel.
- Deletion: You can request that we delete all data associated with your channel at any time by contacting us.
- Revocation: You can revoke our API access at any time via your Google Account settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Correction: If any data about your channel is inaccurate, you can contact us to have it corrected.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in Section 12.
Data Retention
We retain your channel analytics data for as long as your channel remains connected to the Techone Tele Media platform. If you disconnect your channel or request deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days.
Historical analytics data (daily stats, video performance) is retained for up to 2 years to enable trend analysis, after which older data may be aggregated or deleted.
Children's Privacy
This platform is intended for use by adult YouTube channel owners and business partners. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
